Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply when you use the SwarSampada Music Academy website and when you enrol in our classes, online or in our Pune studio. By doing either, you agree to the points below. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Our classes
We teach Indian classical, semi-classical and light music, along with instruments such as tabla, harmonium and guitar, to students of all ages and levels. Course content, duration, batch timings and the mode of teaching (online or in-studio) are shared with you at the time of enrolment and may be adjusted to suit the batch.
Your free trial
Your first class is free, with no obligation. We encourage you to take it before enrolling, so both you and your teacher can decide that the course is the right fit.
Fees and payment
- Fees are communicated to you before you enrol and are payable in advance of the relevant classes.
- Online payments are processed securely through our payment gateway (Razorpay). Completing a payment confirms your enrolment for the period it covers.
- Fees may be revised for future terms; any change is communicated before it applies to you.
Attendance and rescheduling
Regular practice and attendance get the best results, so we ask students to attend their scheduled classes and arrive on time. If you cannot attend a class, please inform your teacher in advance. Rescheduling a missed class is offered where the timetable reasonably allows and is at the academy's discretion.
Conduct
We ask all students and guardians to treat teachers and fellow students with respect, both in the studio and in online sessions. We may pause or discontinue a student's enrolment for behaviour that disrupts learning or the safety of others.
Lessons, recordings and intellectual property
The name, logo, website content and teaching materials of SwarSampada Music Academy are our property and are provided for your personal learning only. Please do not record, copy, share or republish class sessions or materials without our written permission.
Online classes
Online classes depend on your own device and internet connection. We are not responsible for issues caused by your equipment or network, but we will work with you to reschedule where a genuine technical problem on our side interrupts a class.
Limitation of liability
We deliver our classes with care and skill, but we do not guarantee any specific result, grade or examination outcome. To the extent permitted by law, SwarSampada Music Academy is not liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from the use of our website or services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
